Back in Buenos Aires

We sailed into Buenos Aires this morning after 18 fast hours up the rio plata. We're docked in a real swanky area called Puerto Madero which is the old shipping port for the city. We walked around a bit this afternoon basking in the warm weather and just cleaned up to head out for a drink and some traditional argentine BBQ. Check out the Alaska eagle facebook blog for all the rest that I can't type on my iPod.

In other news I've started selling exercise ropes at http://www.muscleropes.com

Here we go Again!

After a day and a half of flying south I'm currently sitting in the southernmost Irish pub in the world having one of Patagonia's finest brews. It seems that I wad the first crewmember to arrive in Ushuai so I've been trying to catch up on sleep before exploring for the next day and a half before we cast off. Pretty chilly down here but nothing compared to what's to come in the following weeks. Hopefully my last minute shopping at REI will withstand all that the southern ocean has to throw at us.
All for now, my glass is empty.
